    The Fallbrook Health Care Foundation (HCF), a non-profit organization, was formed in 1979 to support Fallbrook Hospital and has since provided over $2,000,000 to purchase equipment and for repairs. With the acquisition of the hospital by a for-profit organization in 1998 the role of the HCF changed. Local private citizens fund the foundation through private donations and bequests.     FALLBROOK — Several years ago, Fallbrook Garden Club installed a small garden at La Paloma Elementary School and started a junior gardening club. Over the years the garden and the youth program have grown and the after-school activity now involves nearly 100 students.
