ESCONDIDO (CNS) - An Escondido police officer was struck and knocked onto the hood of a Ford Focus on the shoulder of Interstate 15 today as he was directing traffic around a stalled vehicle. VALLEY CENTER (CNS) - A missing 14-year-old North County boy was found today in Fallbrook after he told authorities he had been thrown from his horse on a trail. PALA - The Pala Band of Mission Indians has installed what the tribe says is the first Naloxone vending machine ever placed on tribal land in the United States, it was announced today.
