FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Street School held its first art show during its open house on April 12. Forty-eight art works were selected and matted for display by the Fallbrook Art Association Art Assist volunteer teachers. Five students had their artwork selected for awards. The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved the recertification of a 50 mph speed limit on South Mission Road for radar enforcement. The supervisors’ 5-0 vote April 6 allows the 50 mph speed limit on the 2.83-mile segment of South Mission Road from State Route 76 to Green Canyon Road to continue to be enforced by radar and confirms findings made by the county’s Traffic Advisory Committee. VISTA – The Oceanside Senior Center Cribbage team easily defeated the Fallbrook Senior Center team in the 38-player March 24 Senior Challenge. A 23-year-old Fallbrook man sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a group of Hispanic males Sunday evening, April 10.
