    Voters in the Bonsall Unified School District will decide whether to approve a property tax assessment which will authorize the issuance of $38 million of general obligation bonds. A 5-0 BUSD board vote April 27 directed the measure to be placed on the Nov. 6 ballot. The exact assessment will depend on the total valuation of real property within the district, but the estimate is that property taxes will increase by $75 annually for a home valued at $200,000.     We Californians are feeling the burn from over- taxation. The State wants more at the gas pump, higher fees for auto registration, and changes to Prop 13. Then there are the school bond obligations. In tax year 2016-17, nearly half (45.8 percent) of San Diego County taxpayers’ property taxes went to education.
