    SAN JACINTO - A motorcycle passenger was killed today near San Jacinto when she was thrown from the bike after the driver lost control on a curve, authorities said. The crash happened around 2 p.m. on state Route 79, just north of Gilman Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.     LOS ANGELES - A German shepherd was given the 30th annual National Hero Dog Award today for saving the life of his owner and helping her in other ways. Bear, a one-time shelter dog with no formal training, got to learn how to detect when Debbie Zeisler, was going to have seizures.     CAMP PENDLETON - The name of a 23-year-old Marine who died at Camp Pendleton under undisclosed circumstances was released today by military officials. Lance Cpl. Michael J. Ronner of Sudbury, Mass., was found dead about 9:15 a.m. Monday, according to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. The cause of Ronner's death will be determined by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, according to Capt. Barry Edwards.     SAN DIEGO - The Pentagon today released the name of a 25-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine killed in combat this week in Afghanistan. Sgt. John P. Huling of West Chester, Ohio, died in Helmand Province on Sunday, the Department of Defense reported.
