    Four students of St. Peter’s Catholic School represented their junior high in the 54th annual Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair. These junior high students brought home three second place awards and one third place award. The fair had 833 entries which were submitted by students in grades seven through twelve.     On April 18, 2008, Fallbrook resident Pvt. Lynn Hopkins graduated from Basic Combat Training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina after 10 grueling weeks of preparation to serve in the United States Army. Her company was divided into four platoons of 60 privates each with the platoons broken down into four squads of 15 with a squad leader for each.     On the heels of a gang shakedown here April 11, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Juvenile Services Division performed a curfew sweep on May 2. “We are going to continue these types of operations here throughout the summer,” said Lt.
