RIVERSIDE - A 256-acre blaze in the Lake Mathews area was out today, a county fire official said. TEMECULA - A motorcycle rider fatally injured when he crashed into a van in Temecula was identified today as a 66-year-old Desert Hot Springs man. Kenneth Fellman, who had been southbound on the Temecula Valley (15) Freeway on a ''special construction'' motorcycle, struck a Chevrolet Express Van on the Rancho California offramp about at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol and a coroner's spokesman. SAN DIEGO (Wire Service) - California Highway Patrol officers in San Diego County arrested 43 suspected drunken drivers between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. today (Sun., May 27), down from 51 drunken driving arrests made during the same time period last year, CHP officials said. Statewide CHP officers made 845 suspected drunken driving arrests so far over Memorial Day weekend, according to CHP Officer Jesse Udovich.
