TEMECULA - A fire that charred 10 acres of brush east of Vail Lake in Temecula may have been sparked by youths blowing up explosives mixed in plastic bowls. No injuries were reported during the Saturday night fire. The Temecula Patch reported that CHP officers suspected that youths may have been shooting at a Tupperware container holding homemade explosives. SAN DIEGO - A total of 92 suspected drunken drivers were arrested on San Diego County's highways and freeways over the Memorial Day weekend, compared to 68 during the same time period last year, the California Highway Patrol announced today, Wed., May 29.
