    Joseph Lee Mosbacher (Mossy) was born October 17, 1917 in Buffalo, N.Y. He worked on the racetrack as a jockey and a trainer, and until age 92 he worked as the clocker at the San Luis Rey Downs Training Center. He was a WWII veteran.
