Born Barbara Anne Kersteiner in Covina, CA on January 21, 1924, she grew up in Coachella, CA graduating from Coachella Valley High School in 1941. She worked at Coachella Valley County Water District for over 20 years (most of that time as Secretary of the Board of Directors), before moving to Fallbrook in 1964. Daniel R. Cleeves passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, in Santa Rosa, CA, due to complications from Lupus at the age of 50. Dan was born in Leadville, CO, and moved to Fallbrook at age 8 when his father died in 1962. Mr. William L. Goss, 72, passed away on June 1, 2005, at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, CA. He was born on June 22, 1932, in Springfield, MO. Mr. Goss was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 10 years. Mr. Goss served in the US Air Force from 1952 to 1956. FALLBROOK — The Friendly Village has many volunteers. Those who work with and for children are a special group. The County of San Diego’s Traffic Advisory Committee recommended against a posted speed limit for Green Canyon Road at the TAC’s June 3 meeting. Disneyland is giving itself a 50th birthday bash and we’re all invited. The party began on the fifth of May and my family and I visited on the eighth.
