    PALA MESA (CNS) - A wildfire that scorched 350 acres near Pala Casino was 10% contained today, according to Cal Fire. The blaze erupted for unknown reasons shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday off state Route 76, about a mile west of Pala Temecula Road in Pala Mesa, according to the fire department.   • Oceanside Plans July 3 Fireworks Show

    OCEANSIDE - A July 3 fireworks display in Oceanside to celebrate the city's 133rd anniversary is expected to draw 10,000 spectators, a spokesman said today. The event will begin at 9 p.m. around the El Corazon site. Rancho Del Oro Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic from 5:45 p.m. to 11 p.m., and designated only for pedestrian use.     SAN DIEGO - San Diego Gas & Electric announced a new grant program supporting local teachers seeking to promote anti-racism projects in their classrooms.     SAN DIEGO - A federal appeals court panel today put an indefinite hold on a San Diego federal judge's ruling that overturned California's three-decade-old ban on assault weapons.
