    FALLBROOK – Registration has opened for the Fallbrook Senior Softball League’s summer season. Adults age 50 and better are eligible to participate in this fun activity. Registration will be open through July 9 after which the team draft will be held directly following. Fee is $70 which includes a shirt and hat. The season is expected to begin either July 19 or 23.   • Pickleball at the community center begins July 17

    FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Community Center tennis courts will be reserved and set up for pickleball play on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 to 8 p.m., starting July 17. Anyone 13 years and older is invited to try this lively, fun and social sport that is catching on across the nation. Basic instruction will be provided by nationally ranked USA pickleball players and ambassadors Bev and Bob Youngren. Nets will be set up and loaner paddles and balls provided.     Fallbrook High School’s boys swim banquet was held May 30 at the high school cafeteria, and four swimmers shared team Most Valuable Player honors.
