Charles Francis Modzeleski, 84, passed in peace Friday, June 8, 2018. He is survived by five children, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Charles was born July 12, 1933, in Greenlawn, New York. In 1979 he moved to Fallbrook and started working at San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant. Charles loved his garden, especially the fruit trees. According to the “Transparent California” web site, in 2015 the FPUD general manager was paid $242,106 with benefits of $71,650.28 to manage about 219 people including temporary employees.
