The North County Community Emergency Response Team (NC CERT) will conduct free classes to train community members how to prepare for disasters, either natural or manmade. Fallbrook residents Luke Bisagna and Michael Hartman won ribbons for their homemade beers at the San Diego County Fair’s home brew competition June 10. Bisagna won a fourth-place ribbon in the Scottish and Irish Ale category, while Hartman took fifth place in the Light Hybrid Beer class. FALLBROOK — The Mission Resource Conservation District (MRCD) is resuming work on a community garden. MRCD is leasing the property, located on Alturas Road, from the Fallbrook Public Utility District. The project began in 2006 but was delayed in the process of obtaining grading plans.
