  • Power Out in Western Part of Hemet

    HEMET - Equipment failure was blamed for a power outage today in west Hemet that may last throughout the night, Southern California Edison reported. More than 2,500 customers were affected by the outage, which began at 10:24 a.m. today. Crews are working to restore power, but service may not return until Sunday morning, according to an Edison spokesman.
