    AGUANGA - A fire that broke out today near Aguanga blackened roughly 80 acres but posed no threat to homes or other structures in the area. The non-injury blaze near Sabina Drive and Ballinger Road, about eight miles south of Hemet, was reported at 10:47 a.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.   • Air Canada to offer nonstop seasonal service between Vancouver and Palm Springs

    PALM SPRINGS - Starting in December, Air Canada will offer nonstop seasonal service between Vancouver and Palm Springs, the airline's subsidiary, Air Canada rouge, announced today. Between Dec. 18 and April 15, Air Canada's leisure airline will offer flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays aboard an Airbus A319.
