SAN DIEGO – Camp Pendleton from the Main Gate to the Las Pulgas Gate will be closed to bicycle traffic Saturday. Aug. 1 from 7 a.m. to noon for an on-base special event. The Interstate 5 (I-5) shoulders between Harbor Drive and Las Pulgas Road are also closed to bicycle traffic due to highway construction. An on-call shuttle will be available for bicyclists who need to travel through the area.
