FALLBROOK — Mandy Atkinson, Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) manager, recently made a presentation to Fallbrook Kiwanis Club. Atkinson reported the TIP group is seeking volunteers for the Fallbrook area. Age is not a limiting factor and teenagers are needed for trauma cases involving children. Two owners of local markets have reported that multiple fraudulent payroll checks have been passed at their stores over the past two weeks. Sam Logan of Major Market and Muhammad Rahman of El Toro Market say they have been victims of several falsified checks. “We cashed five of these checks,” Logan confirmed. “Each one was for between $700 and $1,000.” Logan explained that the checks he received were cut under the company name ‘Bio Solutions.’ When he reviewed the situation with his bank, they found that the account num...
