    BREAKING NEWS: Lanes 3 and 4 are still blocked after a dramatic crash on Interstate 15 tonight, Wednesday, resulted in a vehicle going over the side of the freeway and catching fire. At 9:40 pm the problem changed from a traffic collision to a traffic collision with major injuries. The incident occurred near the Lilac Bridge and led to significant traffic disruptions.     Yankee Fire has a potential for 200 acres. No structures are threatened. The rate of spread is still moderate and 50 acres has burned as of 4:10 pm. Yankee Fire range 710 A on Camp Pendleton is on fire and 30 acres have burned at a moderate rate of spread. The fire is burning along the San Mateo Creek bottom.   • Residence fire fully involved in Valley Center

    BREAKING: A residence has been reported on fire on Oshia Ln near Lilac Rd in Valley Center at 3:21 pm this afternoon. It was also noted that there may be fireworks inside the home and it was believed that no one was inside the residence. The garage was fully involved and firefighters are working on a defensive strategy. Firemen reported there were no fireworks in the garage and the attic where they were fighting the fire. He was charged with corporal injury including domestic violence with great bodily injury.
