    SAN DIEGO - A man arrested in San Diego during a nationwide sextrafficking sting has been charged by federal prosecutors with trafficking a 15-year-old girl. The arrest was part of "Operation Cross Country,'' which was conducted earlier this month by the FBI and local law enforcement agencies. Officials said the sting led to the rescues of more than 200 sex trafficking victims, including 84 minors.     SAN DIEGO (CNS) - With above-normal temperatures expected in the San Diego area and many parts of the state, a statewide Flex Alert will be in effect from 4 to 9 p.m. today, urging residents to voluntarily cut back on power use to avoid strain on California's electrical grid.     SAN DIEGO - A man who pleaded guilty to taking part in a nationwide racketeering scheme targeting the elderly, which took more than $300,000 from at least 10 San Diego County residents, was sentenced today to nearly four years in federal prison.   • NCFPD extinguishes vegetation fire

    North County Fire firefighters were dispatched to a vegetation fire in the area of Reche Road and S. Old Highway 395 in Fallbrook at 1352 hrs according to NCFPD PIO John Choi. Engine 114 arrived on scene at 1358 hrs and quickly stopped the forward rate of spread of a small vegetation fire. According to PIO Choi, the size of the fire was approximately 20 ft by 30 ft.
