    The County of San Diego will soon eliminate plan check and building permit fees for disabled veterans who wish to modify their homes for accessibility purposes. The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 July 31 to approve the first reading and introduction of the ordinance to eliminate the fees for such accessibility upgrades.   • LAFCO reaffirms Morro Hills CSD sphere of influence

    San Diego County’s Local Agency Formation Commission approved an update of the spheres of influence for eight community service districts, including the Morro Hills Community Service District. LAFCO’s 8-0 vote August 5 reaffirmed the existing spheres of those eight districts. The sphere of the Morro Hills will remain identical to the district boundaries.
