    Saturday, September 1, Pop Warner teams played their first pre-season games in high heat and humidity. Most of the teams played in Fallbrook, Ramona, Temecula or Murrieta and had to battle the high temperatures as well as the players on the field. Shawn Coleman’s Warrior Nation Jr. Pee Wee team played in Murrieta at noon, when it was 110 degrees.     Royal Roofing owners Doug and Deborah Berger recently presented a $1,500 donation to Fallbrook Pop Warner. Board member Tate Young accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.     A brushfire that erupted at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 7, on Vessels Stallion Farm in Bonsall was contained within the hour to only seven acres due to quick, aggressive response on the part of North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) and CalFire.
