OCEANSIDE - Police asked for the public's help today to identify the driver of a late-model Kia Soul involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash with a bicyclist, a sergeant said. ANZA BORREGO - The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office today identified the pilot who was killed when his plane crashed in the badlands of Anza Borrego State Park. Max John Mizejewski, 69, was found near the wreckage of the crashed Cessna plane at 7:10 a.m. Saturday on a hillside in Borrego Springs, according to a Medical Examiner's Office press release.
