RIVERSIDE - A Menifee man who sexually assaulted a female friend and allegedly attacked another woman pleaded guilty today to sexual battery and other felonies. Anastasios Panagio Stefanidis, 26, is expected to receive eight years behind bars when he's sentenced by Riverside County Superior Court Judge John Molloy on Dec. 20. RIVERSIDE - Riverside police today turned to the public for help identifying a man who attempted to abduct a female high school student. The girl, who was unhurt, was targeted about 6:15 a.m. Monday at Eucalyptus Avenue and Fifth Street, according to Detective Karla Beler. Late last week a Fallbrook man pled guilty in court to shooting a neighbor’s dog, which led to the canine having to endure the amputation of a leg.
