    LAKE ELSINORE - A San Jacinto man suspected of falsifying numerous checks used to purchase thousands of dollars worth of items from Lake Elsinore Walmart stores was behind bars today. Michael Joseph Tomassaci, 34, was booked on suspicion of burglary, grand theft, writing fraudulent checks and forgery.     RIVERSIDE - A Pedley man who whipped, hit, bound and gagged his 4- month-old and 2-year-old daughters is expected to be sentenced today to 10 years in state prison.     SAN DIEGO - The California Highway Patrol today investigated a fatal rollover crash in the North County believed to have been caused by dense fog.
