On 10-19-2022, at about 5:12 PM, Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 200 block of Ammunition Road, to investigate a report of attempted kidnapping. The reporting party stated a male in a green Subaru hatchback 4-door, with California license plates, had approached her nine-year-old child and told him to get into the car while pointing at the passenger seat. There are two helicopters reported around the Gird Valley area. Cal Fire and SDG&E are practicing, using the Rainbow Water District heli-hydrant for future fire operations, according to NCFPD PIO John Choi. FALLBROOK – The recycled water pipeline at Mission and Winter Haven roads broke this afternoon and emergency repairs are underway. Traffic is reduced to one lane in that area and Fallbrook Public Utility District crews are onsite and directing traffic. Repairs are estimated to be complete by 10:30 p.m. The recycled water leak was stopped within minutes and no one lost potable water service during this emergency repair. FALLBROOK – The JROTC Raiders competed in their first competition of the year at Murrieta Valley High School, Saturday, Oct. 8. They were the only school out of almost 20 schools that had a full female team, mixed team (male and female) and male team.
