SAN JACINTO - A San Jacinto man was shot to death this morning, and authorities are seeking the person responsible, the sheriff's department said. Officers responded to the area of East Esplanade Avenue and Hewitt Street at 4:07 a.m. today to a call of shots being fired in the area, and after a thorough search of the area, officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound about a mile from the original reported area, according to a sheriff's spokesman.
