The Phantom, a biplane hangared at Fallbrook Community Airpark and co-owned by Fallbrook’s Tom Aberle, won the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada, September 13-18. The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted October 19 to vacate 0.128 acres of an existing Bonsall open space easement. The vacation covers an easement on a 4.22-acre parcel in the 6000 block of Via Medici.
