During the evening rush on Monday, November 2, a Major Market employee was assaulted by an aggravated customer at the checkout stand. According to eyewitnesses, the assailant, James Delphin, 30, entered the store noticeably aggravated. FALLBROOK — A grant from Bill Horn and the County Board of Supervisors in the amount of $10,000 was recently received with much gratitude by the Fallbrook Pregnancy Resource Center. The County of San Diego has received its 2009-10 Community Development Block Grant funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, enabling that money to be appropriated into specific projects. In tearing down the local library, why wasn’t any of the old building recycled? They tore it down in three days and all went to the county landfills. When are we going to get serious about building green? It needs to start at the county level. We missed a perfect opportunity in tearing down this library to start building green.
