    Richard C. Key, Sr., passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005. Dick was born on Feb. 9, 1924, in Lake View, IA. At age 17 he joined the US Navy, serving in WWII and the Korean War, as a radio operator. In early 1942, Dick was part of the 36-ship convoy to Murmansk, Russia. His ship was one of 13 that survived that convoy. Dick was a proud and patriotic veteran. Dick married his true love, Peg Young, in 1952. They had seven children together and 36 great years.     Rainbow’s Lori Brown not only won the Ladies Level 3 and Ladies Overall divisions at the mounted shooting competition October 15 in Bloomington, but she also won the overall competition for all shooters. The match was sanctioned by the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association and consisted of four stages.     Last Friday, the Fallbrook Warriors faced off against the Eastlake Titans in the first round of the CIF playoffs; they rallied in the last quarter but fell short with the final score of Eastlake 31, Fallbrook 23. The game began slowly for the Warriors even though they had many opportunities to score. Right from the start Eastlake received the ball, but Rob Taft forced a fumble and Jason Rasmussen recovered.     After a non-football injury prevented Evan Harney from playing football this year, University of San Diego head coach Jim Harbaugh invited Harney to help tutor the USD running backs.
