    Uriel Aguirre placed 45th among Division I boys in the CIF state cross-country meet November 29 at Woodward Park in Fresno. The Fallbrook High School senior had a time of 15:55 on the 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) course. “We were really pleased,” said Fallbrook coach Marco Arias. “He finished up his cross-country career running a personal best.” Fallbrook had qualified for the state meet as a team in 2006.     On November 20 the Fallbrook Senior Center cribbage team won the November Senior Challenge. Fallbrook had 72 to Oceanside Senior Center’s 61 wins in the 38-player match.     Fallbrook High School’s girls volleyball team achieved a 20-win season for 2008, ending the season with a 20-14 record including a split of two playoff matches.     Fees for camping, boat rentals, group picnics, and fishing at county parks will be increased in 2009 and future years.
