It appears that some of the Village News readers are well informed on the dangers of drinking and bathing in fluoridated water. As I noted in a previous letter to the editor, FPUD has allowed the Metropolitan Water District to add fluoride to the water that is delivered to Fallbrook. Yes, Fallbrook residents are drinking fluoridated water and no one asked the residents of our community if they wanted fluoride (medicine) added to their drinking water. As I said before, the voters in the city of Davis, California were asked to... Full story
Mr. Monday seems to like many government services. I wondered what additional government service he might enjoy. Here is my idea. A new government website will be created that any citizen can access to enroll. When enrolled, a new government provided app will be downloaded to the person’s smart phone. When installed, a large brown button will be prominently displayed on the screen. When the person feels the need to enter a restroom, they will push the brown button. A government worker armed with toilet paper will be p... Full story
Donohue asserts that: Our President is negotiating with Iran in order to control the 2016 elections. That Iran is a nation of pedophiles and liars. (I’m sure all nations have pedophiles and liars.) That Obama has a racist administration. That Reagan had more integrity in the White House than any President since then. That Obama has a quisling (traitorous) administration determined to run the U.S. into oblivion. That Obama is worse than Pearl Harbor, and that Obama has become a cancer and is eating away the spirit of A... Full story
There is no need to leave Fallbrook to purchase your live Christmas tree. The day after Thanksgiving, I headed to Myrtle Creek Nursery to purchase our tree. What a delightful experience! Their trees are nestled in acorn mulch in the shade of the giant oak on the property, with the smell of pine permeating the air. There is a wide variety of sizes and every tree is perfectly shaped. Prices are no more than the big box stores and the quality is superior. The usual outstanding service was abundant. The young man helping me...

As someone who has a sensitive digestive system, I found Dr. Indraneel Chakrabarty’s talk, “Holiday Food for Thought: You Are What You Eat!” not only informative but also very helpful. To get everyone thinking about their habits, Chakrabarty asked if we try to use better gas for our cars, better cleaning produ...
