We drove in from Rainbow at 2:45 to get a nice spot to watch the Christmas Parade. Imagine our disappointment at finding the entire length of the parade route full of empty chairs. How rude, selfish, and unwelcoming. We feel that if you want to reserve a spot you should be sitting in it. Fallbrook really should be discouraging this practice as we can see where it could cause confrontations and other issues. We’ve lived in Fallbrook our whole lives and looked forward as a family to enjoying the parade. What a shame. B. H...
As a resident of Fallbrook who is frustrated and feels inundated by cars, I would like to know, what is going on at Camp Pendleton? The almost constant stream of traffic traveling in and out of the Base has increased 100-fold since we moved here five years ago. East Mission is constantly in use and becoming impossible to enter or exit from our street, which is near the Interstate 15 freeway. Are they building a new base? Creating a military city that no one knows about? What is going on? Anybody know? If so, please let us...
San Diego County votes are in. Congratulations to Siegrid Stillman and Lisa Masten for winning in the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District board election. May the next four years bring the best education we can give to our students. All of our students must be encouraged to reach for the stars. Mediocre should never be acceptable. We need to work towards the goal of being the best schools in California. I want to thank everyone who voted for me; everyone at the Fallbrook Tea Party, my family, my church family, and...

The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary (FAS) has a new desperate need. The old van that they use to transport animals to the vet and adoptions and to pick up supplies has died. The donation of another used or small truck is needed right away. I am hoping that someone in Fallbrook might need a (non-profit) tax deduction of a used fuel efficient pet mobile. It has to have a shell over the bed if it is a truck, so that pets in cages can be transported safely. A minivan would be ideal. Also, I hope that anyone looking for a cat to add...

The goal of the workshop was to inform as many people as possible about the threat of...
SAN DIEGO – Christmas is time for happiness, spending time with family and friends. Cal Fire warns everyone to not let the holiday excitement make them forget that fire knows only destruction and sorrow. Never place candles on the Christmas tree. Be fire safe, not sorry!... Full story
