    The Fallbrook Rugby Club boys high school team had some guests during a November 29 training session at Ingold Fields, specifically the Navy Seals.     Rod Robison finished sixth in the Turkey Classic main event November 27 at Route 66 Raceway in Victorville. “We had a good time racing,” Robison said. “I appreciate James and Dave letting me drive.” Dave Londrow owns the 1974 Ford Pinto which ended its stock car racing career at the Turkey Classic.     FALLBROOK – Lieutenant Robert Haley, commander of the Fallbrook Sheriff’s substation presented Zach Harris as the Sheriff Department’s Deputy of the Year for North County at a recent luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.     John (Jack) Gallagher, born July 25, 1920, passed away Nov. 11, 2011 (Veteran’s Day). Jack and his wife Erna were residents of Fallbrook from 1965 until 2002. Jack flew light planes for the Army Air Corps during WWII in Burma and later worked for Standard Oil in California, Venezuela and Indonesia.     Bettie L. Murphy of Fallbrook, Calif., passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. Bettie was born Feb. 12, 1923. She married Robert Murphy April 23, 1942. In 1949 Bettie, Robert and their young son Larry moved from Indiana to Fallbrook. It was here she had her second child, daughter Terri, raised her family, and resided for the rest of her life.
