On Dec. 15, the Fallbrook Girls Rugby Club (FGRC) held a “Coffee Sales” event at Joe’s Hardware. As I sat there, watching the coming and going of Joe’s shoppers, I witnessed several people donate money without purchasing any of our items. As well, many Fallbrook folks bought the coffee, hot cocoa, chai, cookies, and t-shirts that we had for sale. All of the people who sto...

The government’s primary responsibility is to protect its citizens; for too long that responsibility has been blocked by the NRA, gun manufacturers, and crazies who think they need weapons to fight their own government (consider the total a...

Its lights left glowing, what a sight to behold, and the wiring beneath was time-worn and old. Mother was sleeping in flannel of red, and father, in blue, was smoking in bed.
