Palm Sunday, April 1st, we welcome the Providence Christian College Chorale to our worship service at 10:30. The Palm Sunday 10:00 a.m. service will open with a processional by the children waving palms, the choir singing, and Jesus appearing. “Step By Step”, Dr. Dennis Ginoza will build on the stations of the cross where Jesus walked the Via Dolorosa. Hot Farmhouse Coffee wasn’t the only thing heating up Fallbrook Friday night when up-and-coming Christian rock band, The Richard Andrews Experiment, hit the stage at Zion Lutheran Church. The band’s performance was part of the church’s community fellowship program He-Brews. On Palm Sunday, April 1st, services begin outside the church in the Sacred Heart Garden with a procession carrying palm branches. Our regular Mass schedule will be observed on this day. We still need your palm branches in preparation for Palm Sunday. Please bring your branches to the church to be used for decoration. On Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, Junior & Senior High School students gather in the Youth Chapel for music, prayer and bible study. Their evening ends with fellowship, fun and snacks. Eileen Bowen Christensen, 54, of Henderson, NV, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Born February 6, 1953, in New Orleans, she was a resident of Nevada for 10 years. Eileen was a certified public accountant. She loved hiking, bike riding and scuba diving. She became a certified diving instructor and traveled extensively, diving in many parts of the world. Continuing efforts to feed the hungry, preparations are underway for participating in CROP Walk, held in Fallbrook on March 25.
