BERNIE WILSON AP Sports Writer|Updated Oct 25, 2019

SAN DIEGO (AP) - San Diego State's basketball program has gotten to the point where it's a big deal if the Aztecs don't make the NCAA Tournament. The Aztecs failed to live up to their lofty expectations last year. That will provide plenty of motivation as third-year coach Brian Dutcher molds a new-look team that has plenty of experience thanks to three key transfers and could be better than his first team, which did make the NCAA field. "It's not acceptable," Dutcher said of... Full story

TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist|Updated Oct 24, 2019

The (sort of) Los Angeles Chargers are on the road again this week, which isn't such a bad thing for fans of the former San Diego franchise. Seems like the Chargers are always on the road. Even when they're home. That was evident this month when Pittsburgh Steelers fans filled most seats at the converted soccer stadium that is the team's temporary home. Things got so bad that the Steelers theme song was played, so bad that linebacker T.J. Watt thanked Pittsburgh fans... Full story
