FALLBROOK – Every tennis professional started as a novice player. What distinguished them from other up-and-coming players was talent, dedication and hard work. Coach Mike Amador said, “The ba...

The rest of Fallbrook High School’s girls volleyball season will determine the success of the Warriors’ new leaders. Chip Patterson, who is in his first year as Fallbrook’s head coach, was an assistant coach last year and has also been a head coach for United States Marine Corps teams. The most significant variable is which Warrior player will replace senior Kendra Dahlke, who likely played her final high school match Sept. 23, as the team leader. “Somebody else is going t... Fallbrook High School head football coach Kyle Williams blames himself for the scope of the Warriors’ 47-7 loss September 26 at home against El Camino. “I didn’t do a good job of making adjustments on defense,” Williams said. It could be said that the adjustment of some defensive players to two-way roles due to injuries to offensive players was a cause of El Camino’s continued success. “Eventually fatigue became a factor in the second half,” Williams said. The use of those...
