For the fourth consecutive year, Fallbrook High School had the two best girls pole vault heights at the Valley League track and field championship meet. This year’s meet took place May 3 at Valley Center High School. The Khoury twins, who are seniors, had the two highest girls pole vaults. Last year Bonsall High School’s boys volleyball team had a 3-18 record including two forfeit wins, and the Legionnaires were 3-7 in Pioneer League play. This year the team had a regular-season record of 17-14 including an 11-3 mark in Pioneer League competition which was one match short of sharing the league championship. “I was pretty happy,” said Bonsall coach Jesse Stock. Fallbrook High School’s girls lacrosse team received the second seed in the CIF Division II playoffs, and the Warriors will have a May 10 home game against the winner of the first-round game between Westview and Mira Mesa. The Warriors completed the regular season with a 15-4 record. The San Diego Sockers have played home games at what was initially the San Diego Sports Arena and is currently Pechanga Arena, but for 2024-2025, the Sockers will be moving into Frontwave Arena in Oceanside.
