John J. L. Ryan, 90

John J. L. Ryan, 90, of San Diego died on Saturday, January 29, after a long battle with prostate cancer. Born in Waukenabo Township, Minn., on June 17, 1914, John was one of 15 children who grew up on a farm in Aikin. He was the last of his siblings to pass.

John was also preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Alice Mary Ryan; one son, Lawrence E. Ryan; and two grandchildren. He is survived by 10 of his 11 children (listed in order of birth): John J.
