Roy C. Vick, 84

Roy C. Vick, 84, of Hemet, CA, passed away January 24, 2005, at the Hemet Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at the Hemet Valley Mortuary on Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at 2 p.m. Private family interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, CA. Mr. Vick was born July 26, 1920, in Erhardt, Minn, and had lived in the San Jacinto Valley for 29 years. Before retiring, he was a painting contractor who lived in Fallbrook from 1953 to 1976 before moving to Hemet.

Mr. Vick was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, in 2001. He leaves his son and daughter-in-law James R. Vick & Bonnie, Perris, CA; daughter and son-in-law Nancy R. Risen & Bob, Murrieta, CA; sister May Belle Gargano, Newport Beach, CA; and two grandchildren.
