Also serving the communities of De Luz, Rainbow, Camp Pendleton, Pala and Pauma
CLAD (Christ’s Lowerarchy Action Disciples) will host a prayer vigil remembering two years of our United States being engaged in conflicts in Iraq. We will meet Saturday, March 19, from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at 39250 American Road, Fallbrook. We invite members of the community to come together in remembrance of lives lost, in prayers for family members now in Iraq, and in prayers for peace. Please do not bring food, as there will be some who will be fasting throughout this prayer time.
Since the United States started war against Iraq on March 19, 2003, the United States armed forces have lost close to 1,500 lives. Our prayer vigil will include:
• Prayers for all those suffering loss due to the war in Iraq over the last two years.
• Prayers for peace and security for the countries of the world. (Please bring your prayer concerns for problems throughout our own country as well as the world.)
• Offerings of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our everlasting peace in the midst of good or evil.
Musical prayer and praise will be offered. You are encouraged to bring your own expression of prayer and praise to God to share.
