Yearbook art sought

It’s hard to believe, but we finally completed another trimester at Sullivan on Friday, March 11. We celebrated with a minimum day and also with the pleasure of knowing there is only one more trimester to go and that with it comes a chance to start over fresh.

Our yearbook committee is looking for artwork created by Sullivan students to post in the yearbook! Entries must be turned in to any member of the yearbook staff or to Mrs. Brown, the yearbook teacher. Entries also must be received by March 18.

A meeting for the parents and students planning for the Washington D.C. trip was held on Monday, March 14. Recently, students going on this trip have turned in a short essay about a topic they chose regarding one of the historical features of Washington D.C. This helped give them a better understanding of some of the historical attributes the trip will cover and make it more interesting to actually see the things they researched.

Parent conferences are coming up on Thursday and Friday, March 17 and 18. An appointment is not required; you may come in at any time to the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room) to talk to the teachers. Report cards will also be handed out, but if you choose not to attend you will still get them by mail. We look forward to seeing you there!
