Women's History Month award winners

FALLBROOK — In honor of Women’s History Month, eighth grade students in Janis Fountain’s American History classes at Potter Jr. High took part in a writing contest titled “Amazing American Women.” Nearly 200 students did research and wrote two- to three-page essays on American women from the past and present. The writing contest was sponsored by Delta Kappa Gamma, a society of women educators. The top four award winners were chosen by a committee from Delta Kappa Gamma.
