Its 47-bed acute-care facility is fully accredited by the JCAHO and features an array of diagnostic equipment and treatment options. The emergency department is open 24 hours a day and is the only hospital emergency department within a 17-mile radius. The Industrial Medicine Program offers comprehensive healthcare services and diagnostic and surgical procedures. DMV physicals and immunizations such as tuberculin and hepatitis B are provided. The hospital’s surgical services teams specialize in contemporary techniques to ensure the best care possible. These include minimally invasive procedures that result in a quicker recovery. Anticipated this year is the renovation of the surgical department to include a new endoscopy suite. Outpatient services are available and include extensive laboratory and pathology testing and an ambulatory surgery unit for same-day procedures and pain management. Rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Cardiac rehabilitation programs are individually customized for exercise, behavior change and health education. The Women’s Center is fitted with side-by-side labor-delivery rooms that provide modern technology in a comfortable setting and also offers a broad spectrum of gynecological services. The hospital’s 93-bed Skilled Nursing Facility offers 24-hour nursing care; nutritious meals; physical, occupational and speech therapy; psychological support services; and social activities. Home health and hospice services is dedicated to maintained quality of life and include pain control, symptom management, personal bedside care, comfort and bereavement support.
