In honor of Earth Day, April 22, Starbucks would like to share an easy tip that not only helps gardens but also reduces organic waste in the environment. Customers are invited to pick up a free bag of spent coffee grounds through Starbucks’ Grounds for Your Garden program. The program, which began in 1995, offers complimentary coffee grounds to customers year-round, helping to reduce waste and enhance gardens in parks, schools, nurseries and private gardens across North America.
