Carjackers crash at Mission Rd.

FALLBROOK — The California Highway Patrol reported that the pursuit of two carjacking suspects that began in Lancaster on Friday, May 6, ended in Fallbrook after the driver of the vehicle lost control and skidded off Interstate 15 near Mission Road.

Authorities say the suspects allegedly carjacked a full-size Dodge 4X4 pickup in the Lancaster area by knifepoint. Sheriff’s deputies located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
