Colburn earns Best Buy scholarship

Best Buy Children’s Foundation has awarded a scholarship to Ashley Colburn, a 2005 graduate of Fallbrook Union High School. Ashley is the daughter of Karen & Steve Colburn.

This year, the Best Buy Children’s Foundation, through its partnership with Scholarship America, awarded more than $2 million to graduating high school seniors across the country. Up to three students in every US Congressional District and the District of Columbia, 1,308 students overall, will receive a scholarship valued from $1,000 to $2,000.

Scholarships were awarded to students who volunteer time to their communities, excel in academics, participate in extracurricular activities and are entering or attending an accredited US university, college or technical school.
