FALLBROOK — Lori Palmer, CPE will be presenting a free parenting workshop on May 24 from 7-9 p.m. The topics covered will be: dealing effectively with power struggles and enhancing your child’s self-esteem.
Palmer is a Certified Parenting Educator through the International Network for Children and Families (www.incaf.com). She teaches a five-week parenting course as well as workshops for parents, teachers and organizations.
The course, “Redirecting Children’s Behavior,” and workshops are based on the work of Rudolf Driekers, MD, a highly noted therapist, researcher and author of “Children: The Challenge.” The materials are endorsed and recommended by pediatricians and mental health professionals nationwide.
Lori Palmer brings ten years of experience working therapeutically with challenged children and families as a counselor in the Bay Area. She will be teaching workshops at Fallbrook Community Center this summer. For information regarding courses and workshops, please call her at (760) 415-7629.
