FUESD approves raises, benefits contribution

An increase in salaries and healthcare benefits for teachers, management and a number of other district employees was approved by the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) governing board on May 16.

The plan was approved prior to the board meeting by both the Fallbrook Elementary Teachers Association (FETA) and the California School Employees Associations. (See sidebar on Salary Increase.)During the board meeting of February 22, members of FETA spoke out in concern of a cap on their healthcare benefits.
